We recently had an exhibition, which was in Harper Road Camberwell, Greater London SE1, UK.
We have got desire lines project. Desire lines are an architect's term for paths made by people when walking across open grass land-often these lines occur at tangents to "designed" constructed pavements. What these lines show is where people want to go, rather than where and architect would like them To go. This simple example show where "design professionals" can and do ignore what people naturally want or are naturally drawn to do.
The Harper road estate no more using it and the place is completely empty and feel really isolated by any other places around there.
Our group concept is ' The forgotten ' and it was sound piece + light installations. We would like to express with sound of people who used to live there and it reminiscing the place with emptiness and loneliness.
This is the actual exhibition clip on the day.
